for comparisons are rich international mathematics and science
curriculum maps from top-achieving nations.
This Web site is a joint effort between
the North Central Regional Educational Laboratory (NCREL)
and the U.S. Third International Science and Mathematics Study (TIMSS) National Research Center at Michigan
State University.
NCREL and the U.S. TIMSS Center are indebted to the First In The World Consortium for contributing to the development of this curriculum-mapping Web site. Through fieldwork, practical advice, and substantial editing, the Consortium has helped ensure that this site is a practical and useful tool for local school districts interested in curriculum reform.
